Fold Fairy offers two main Wash & Fold options:

Pickup & Delivery — we pick up your laundry at your door, wash, dry and fold it in-house, and return it with next-day service as the standard.

Drop-Off Wash & Fold — bring your laundry to our Austin location and we’ll wash, dry and fold it for pickup.

We also offer specialty care for delicates, blankets, comforters and other select items.

Yes. Fold Fairy processes laundry in-house at our Austin laundry center. We do not outsource washing, folding or Pickup & Delivery processing.

Yes. Customers can select available laundry preferences such as detergent, washer temperature, dryer temperature, fabric softener, dryer sheets and bleach options.

Pickup & Delivery preferences can be saved for future orders.

Schedule your order online, select your laundry preferences and choose your pickup and delivery dates.

Fold Fairy picks up your laundry, processes it in-house, weighs it once dry, calculates your final total and returns it fresh and folded.

Next-day return is the standard service.

There are no pickup or delivery fees. Your final price is based on the actual dry weight of your laundry.

No. You do not need to meet the driver as long as your laundry is placed in the agreed pickup location and Fold Fairy has any necessary access information, such as gate codes, building instructions or concierge notes.

For your first order, place your laundry in securely tied bags at your selected pickup location.

Please separate and clearly identify specialty-care items such as delicates, comforters, duvets or blankets.

Your order will be returned in a reusable Fold Fairy bag for future pickups.

Next-day return is the standard Pickup & Delivery service. You will also receive text updates when your order leaves the facility and when the driver is on the way.

Your laundry is processed and weighed dry.

Fold Fairy calculates your final total using the dry weight at:

$2.75/lb

subject to the $40 minimum.

Your card is securely saved when you place your order.

You won’t be charged until your laundry has been processed and weighed. Fold Fairy sends an update with your final weight and total, then charges the card on file according to the current Pickup & Delivery workflow.

Yes.

Recurring Pickup & Delivery orders receive:

5% off

A $15 missed pickup fee applies.

Your first missed pickup fee is waived as a one-time courtesy.

Your finished laundry is neatly folded and ready to pick up at the counter.

Drop-Off Wash & Fold is:

Yes.

Drop-Off orders received by noon qualify for free same-day service and are ready by 9:00 PM.

Orders dropped off after noon are ready when Fold Fairy opens the next business day.

Once your order is complete, Fold Fairy will text you that it is ready for pickup.

The text includes:

• final dry weight
• total cost

Payment is due when you pick up your completed order.

Fold Fairy is cashless.

Yes.

Customers may provide available wash preferences and select applicable add-ons when dropping off their laundry.

The Delicates Bag is a:

$10 add-on

for delicate or special items you want handled separately from your regular laundry.

It includes:

• dedicated Fold Fairy mesh bag
• 6 lb maximum
• cold wash
• low spin
• no heat / air fluff
• items kept separate during processing

The Delicates Bag must be added to a Pickup & Delivery or Drop-Off order.

Please contact Fold Fairy if you expect your Delicates Bag to exceed the 6 lb maximum.

$30 — Down fill

Any size.

Blankets and comforters are washed separately from regular laundry.

Fold Fairy follows manufacturer care instructions when possible and uses appropriate wash and dry settings based on the item’s fabric and fill.

An oxygen-based booster is used when appropriate.

Fold Fairy uses professional laundry practices and follows special instructions when possible, but some stains may be permanent and stain removal cannot be guaranteed.

Yes.

Please check all pockets before sending your laundry.

Items such as pens, gum, lip balm, keys or electronics can damage clothing or laundry equipment.

Yes.

Fold Fairy may refuse items that create health, safety or contamination concerns, including items affected by:

• bed bugs
• mold or mildew
• bodily fluids
• excessive pet hair
• grease
• chemical contamination
• extreme soil

Dry-clean-only items may also be refused unless approved in advance.

Please report any concerns within 48 hours of pickup or delivery.

Claims reported after 48 hours may not be eligible for review.

If an item is confirmed lost or damaged due to Fold Fairy handling, liability is based on the item’s current fair value and limited to a maximum of $100 per order.

No.

Tips are never expected, but they are always appreciated.

Fold Fairy is cashless for Drop-Off orders.
